Sardar Gabbar Singh is trending right from the day the movie has been launched. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is playing the lead role in the movie and he will be essaying a cop in the film. The movie is not a sequel for his previous super hit film Gabbar Singh and Pawan himself penned the script of the film. The movie’s shoot has been delayed many times because of Pawan Kalyan’s political engagements. KS Ravindra (Bobby) who made an impressive debut with Ravi Teja’s Power is directing the movie which is being made on a massive budget.
Rathanpur happens to be the border of three states and it is being ruled by mafia goons who completely dominate the people by Bhairav Singh (Sharad Kelkar) who happens to be the king of a dynasty near Rathanpur. His dominance goes high day by day and it was during this time, Sardaar Gabbar Singh (Pawan Kalyan) was called. He enters Rathanpur as CI and he takes his time to know about the situations. Sardaar Gabbar Singh falls in love with the princess Arshi (Kajal Agarwal) and the rest of the film is about how Sardaar Gabbar Singh brings the needed change for the society. The first half of Sardaar Gabbar Singh has been decent to some extent and it has some impressive episodes. The entertainment of the movie has been completely outdated and the songs have been misplaced completely. The action episodes looked completely fake and the complete narration has been predictable. On the whole the complete first half of Sardaar Gabbar Singh has been below the line.
The second half of the movie dips down even further in all the available ways. The complete movie fails to impress the audience and the action episodes have been completely unnatural. The songs are the major drawbacks of the movie and the pre climax episodes even make the film dip down badly. The audience get irritated completely and the climax has been just ok. On the whole the second half of Sardaar Gabbar Singh is sure the major reason for the film’s debacle.
Powerstar Pawan Kalyan who is known for his passion and perfection does his job well. He has been outstanding with the assigned role throughout the film. Kajal Agarwal will sure surprise everyone with her gorgeous presence and outstanding performance throughout the film. Sharad Kelkar has been fit and perfect in the role of Bhairav Singh in the movie. All the other actors have been completely suitable in the assigned roles.
The story of Sardaar Gabbar Singh is the major reason for the movie’s debacle as it offers nothing from a commercial entertainer. The complete screenplay and the dialogues have been below the average line and the music, background score look nothing near to melodious. The production values have completely been decent. KS Ravindra fails to impress the audience and the movie fails to reach the expectations all over.
