Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone has always been talk of the town couple of B-town with sizzling chemistry on-screen and off-screen. The lovely pair of Bollywood shared a very special bonding and that became even more prominent in 'Ram Leela' and will be sharing the screen once again in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani' which is slated to hit the theatres on December 18, 2015.
We all know that Ranveer Singh is so possessed of Deepika and he always wanted to be on her side. The most surprising part is that Ranveer wanted Deepika to play as his sister on screen in his upcoming project Zoya Akhtar's 'Dil Dhadakne Do'. He even recommended Deepika's name for the role but it was finally given to Priyanka Chopra.
In an interview with Stardust magazine Ranveer was quoted saying, "Why not? We casually joked about it. I even mentioned it to Zoya. I told her in all seriousness to get Deepika on board and that she would love to play the sister. I had signed DDD first and this came up during the discussion. She said, 'I know what you are saying, but I don't think our audience is ready for it, especially because 'Ram-Leela' was a full on intense romance. It would be hard to accept and I don't want to battle that."
Zoya was correct in her point of view, well do you want to see Ranveer and Deepika as siblings on-screen?
