Bollywood stunning actress Katrina Kaif has made her mark in the industry with her hard work and beauty. She is one of the top actresses of Bollywood, she also appeared in Telugu and Malayalam films as well. Katrina made her Bollywood debut in 2003 and acted with almost all top Bollywood actors like Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan etc. In her career she has given many blockbuster films but she rejected many at the same time. Below is the list of few SuperHit movies rejected by Katrina Kaif.

Dilwale:

Diwale has been the super hit movie in recent time which brought the Bollywood most iconic pair Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol back on the silver screen after long time. The film was first offered to Katrina Kaif but she rejected the offer. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty and also stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in prominent roles.

Bajirao Mastani:

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic historical romantic love story of warrior king Peshwa Bajirao did a good business at the box office. In the period romance saga Katrina was offered to play the title role of Mastani opposite Ranveer Singh. But she rejected the offers and it was later offered to Deepika Padukone.

Goliyon Ki Raasleela – Ram-Leela:

Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to cast Katrina Kaif as his leading lady in 2013 blockbuster film Ram-Leela. But the sizzling beauty declined the film as the actresses felt that Ranveer Singh was too junior for her to act with. Finally Deepika Padukone banged the offer and there Jodi impressed everyone with stunning chemistry.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani:

Apparently, Katrina Kaif was the first choice to play the female lead role opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. It was heard that Katrina rejected the offer as she was not interested on being seen much on the bigger screen with her then beau. But the former couple Deepika and Ranbir got chance to come together for the film after their break up.

Chennai Express:

Rohit Shetty’s romantic action comedy film Chennai Express which broke all the records was first offered to Katrina Kaif starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. But the actress turned down the offer and the role was finally played by Deepika Padukone.

Happy New Year:

Farah Khan's action-heist comedy film was first offered to Katrina to play the female lead role. The actress declined the offer has she was completed packed with busy schedules. Once again it was none other than Deepika Padukone who accepted the project to play the female lead role opposite SRK.

Gunday:

Katrina Kaif was initially offered the project to share screen space with two Bollywood hunky actors, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. She rejected the offer due to date issues and later the filmmakers approached Priyanka Chopra, who finally gave a node to the film.

Singham:

Rohit Shetty's super hit film Singham starring Ajay Devgn in male lead, was first offered to Katrina to play the female lead. She rejected the project and it was later offered to Kajal Aggarwal.

Chakravyuh:

In Prakash Jha’s political war film Chakravyuh the role of Esha Gupta was first offered to Katrina. The film has received good response at the box office. The film stars ring Arjun Rampal, Esha Gupta, Manoj Bajpai, Kabir Bedi, Anjali Patil and Abhay Deol in prominent roles.

Barfi!:

Anurag Basu's blockbuster film Barfi has received good applause from every one. Ileana D’Cruz was not the first choice to play the role, it was offered to Katrina Kaif. But she denied the offer and it went into Ileana hands, which turned her career in the Bollywood film industry.

Mohenjo Daro:

Mohenjo Daro is an upcoming periodic drama which is being directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The filmmaker wanted to repeat Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara and Bang Bang super hot Jodi in his upcoming period flick. But Katrina rejected to be part of the film and newcomer Pooja Hegde came on board. The film is set to release on 12 August 2016.
