Big B Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most renowned Bollywood actors and he has been keeping himself busy with the versatile characters. He has done more than 500 films in his career and here are some of the lesser known facts about the actor.

During the launch of a medical campaign on Hepatitis B, Big B revealed that he has been surviving with only 25% of his liver. He said “I have lost 75% of my liver. During 2000, I was injected 60 bottles of blood out of which one of the donors had Hepatitis B virus which infected my liver by 75%. From the day, I have been surviving with only 25% of the liver. Some of them even live with 12% of their liver”.

Amitabh Bachchan completed 46 years in indian cinema and is going great in his career. His debut movie Saat Hindustani released 46 years ago on November 6th with which the actor achieved the rare feet.

Amitabh Bachchan was the first consideration for the lead role in Mr India which ended as one of the best films in the history of Indian cinema. However it was Anil Kapoor who did the film and it ended as one of the biggest blockbuster during those days.

Amitabh will be receiving a pension of Rs 50,000 as pension from the government of Uttar Pradesh as the cabinet announced that the state’s highest honour will receive this.

Actress Smita Patel had a dream that the actor will meet with an accident during the shoot of Coolie. Amitabh had a fatal accident while shooting for an action episode in Banglore in 1982.

Amitabh Bachchan who is 73 years old has given his nod to lend his voice for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. The show is first Disney’s musical in India which wanted Big B on board.

Bachchan has been appointed as the Brand Ambassador for Maharastra’s Tiger Conservation. Upon their request, the Superstar sent a formal letter accepting their proposal as it helps in protecting the tigers which are reducing day by day.

Big B Amitabh Bachchan revaled the fact that no other actor in Indian cinema has seen many ups and downs like him. He has lived with the worst and enjoyed the best as per the situations but he never got depressed. He also said whenever he fell down; he came back with a bang
