King Khan Sharukh Khan is the most renowned actor in Bollywood and he has terrific craze all over the world. He has come up with Dilwale recently which has been directed by Rohit Shetty. Sharukh, Kajol, Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan played the lead roles in the movie which released all over on December 18th.
SRK was quite confident on the film’s success and he decided to clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s periodic drama Bajirao Mastani which featured Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles.
Dilwale managed to open huge than Bajirao Mastani and the film stood strong over the weekend. But on the first weekday, Dilwale dipped by 52% which has been shocking. The movie lacked proper content and the routine plot laced with entertainment made the audience watch the film over the weekend.
Bajirao Mastani is now having a rock solid run at the Indian box-office and the movie crossed the collections of Dilwale. Critics and audience reveal that it’s time for Sharukh to reinvent himself instead of choosing routine entertainers like Happy New Year and Dilwale which offer nothing much except entertainment.
While Aamir Khan and Salman Khan have been thinking quite innovative, it’s time for Sharukh to make his moves towards unique movies. Sharukh who is an intelligent businessman has been interested on commercial figures than on the movie’s strength and levels of audience reach.
It was Sharukh who wanted to clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani and Red Chillies Entertainments thought that Bajirao Mastani would backup as it was Sharukh who was on board. But things altered completely and Eros International was no way interested to delay the release of Bajirao Mastani.
