Big B Amitabh Bachchan is one actor who has been entertaining the audience from the past 40 years and he is still busy with films. He has been selecting unique and versatile scripts which received wide applause from the audience. His recent outing Piku has been a huge hit and Big B received stupendous response for his character and performance in Piku.
He is currently shooting for Te3n in the direction of Sujoy Ghosh who earlier directed Kahaani. The shoot of the film is currently going on in Kolkata and Amitabh recently wrapped up the shoot of Wazir in the direction of Bejoy Nambiar. Amitabh will be seen in a wheelchair throughout the film and Farhan Akthar played the other lead role.
During a recent interaction with the media, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he has been approached to play the negative lead in Robo which has been directed by Shankar. He said “I was quite excited after listening to the script but I called Rajinikanth after which I rejected the film. Rajini said that the audience will not accept me in a negative role. I loved the movie completely and I respected Rajini’s words who is a close friend of mine. I wish Rajinikanth all the best for his upcoming movie Robo 2”.
Shankar is now ready with the sequel of Robo and the film has been titled as Robo 2. Rajinikanth will play the lead role in the film which has been launched on December 12th marking his birthday. Amy Jackson will play the female lead and Akshay Kumar will play the negative lead in Robo 2.
The regular shoot of Robo 2 will start from January last week and will be wrapped up by the end of this year. The movie will have enough space for VFX which are said to be the major highlights of the movie. AR Rahman will compose the music and Lyca Productions are producing the movie which is being made on a budget of Rs 250 crores.
