Maverick director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is back with his magnum opus titled Bajirao Mastani which is said to be the costliest film ever made in the history of Indian cinema. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra played the lead roles in the movie which is said to be the life story of warrior Peshwa Bajirao.
The movie released in over 6000 screens across the world and the movie clashed with Sharukh Khan’s Dilwale at the box-office. Though the movie had a wider release than Dilwale, Bajirao Mastani opened to 50% all over which is said to be ok. The movie collected Rs 14 crores on its first day which has been decent.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali took almost two years to carve out this film and the songs along with the lavish sets, grand visuals are the major highlights of the film. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone excelled in their characters and their performances along with their chemistry on screen are the highlights of the movie.
