He keeps up wrapping films in quick successions and manages to release 3-4 films in a year which is surprising. When his fellow actors along with the youngsters try making up one release, Askhay Kumar always has been on the top when it is about the number of releases.
Akshay got 5 releases last year out of which all the movies made up decent money and his first movie Airlift released recently this year. Raja Krishna Menon directed the film which is racing towards the biggest hit in the career of Akshay Kumar.
Akshay Kumar has been roped in to play the negative lead for the first time in his career and he will be locking horns with South Indian Superstar Rajinikanth. The movie is a sequel for Robo and it has been titled as Robo 2.0
The regular shoot of the film started recently and the Akshay allotted 60 days of bulk dates for the movie which left the makers in huge shock. This is because, Akshay generally wraps up a film in 30-35 days for a film in which he plays the lead role.
